Brooklyn Bridge 100th Anniversary on June 26, 1990 featured a fireworks waterfall as crowds watch from Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park in DUMBO. This was one of the best fireworks shows I have ever seen with the waterfall of fire dropping to the surface of the East River. The brightness was incredible, giving a spectacular light in the grass of Fulton-Ferry State Park, the precursor to Brooklyn Bridge Park.
